An interesting textural design inspired by the stone roads of ancient Japan. The textured pattern is created through a meticulous and time-consuming Japanese hand-weaving technique called Rinzu. Rinzu is a Japanese silk satin damask created by manually twisting the threads as they are being woven to create the textured pattern. Affordable only to royal and wealthy patrons, it was the preferred fabric for kimonos in the Edo period.
Squares are approximately 12″ x 12″ [30cm]
Pocket square edges are quality hand rolled and sewn.
100% vintage Japanese fine silk, dry clean only.
