A popular design during the Edo period, the pattern represents Autumn grasses bent over in a field. The grasses poetically symbolize autumn harvest and the time for viewing the full moon.

Part of the samurai code was to be cultured and versed in the arts. the designs and patterns of the silks the samurai wore and when they were worn was determined by unwritten tradition and timing.

Squares are approximately 12″ x 12″ [30cm]

Pocket square edges are quality hand rolled and sewn.
